First post disclaimer...
About me, I just bought a BMWZ3 2.8 and its super sweet. I have two questions for the board though;
The thing is that I would like to buy a Kenwood Sat Nav that goes in the place of the original stereo (anyone has any experience with them?) with ipod interface and 7" screen (~950 USD)... but is it possible to have one of those in a car with a soft top? The car is parked in a decent area in Palo Alto, CA and always under carcover at night but I guess it is still only a knife cut away whenever the wrong guy is passing. Has anyone any experience with a relatively expensive car stereo in a Z3?
And one more while I'm at it; the car has a minor leak in the oil pan. Its not a huge leak (its not dripping), does anyone have an idea of the cost for fixing it (not sure if its just a gasket or the entire pan) and should I do it asap or whenever I have the car for service or is it not very important?
