We weren't in the market for a Z4, or even a BMW, but when I came across a one owner 2005 Z4 2.5i with only 21,750 miles on the clock we were all over it. I had a trusted mechanic I've used since the late '80's perform a thorough inspection and he gave me a big thumb's-up, so we made the deal. The car is almost new. There are a couple minor scuffs on the left door that will polish out. All that aside, I wanted to introduce myself and say that we look forward to driving the wheels off this thing. I have an appointment to have an aftermarket radio installed on Monday by a shop with tons of positive reviews and is very local to me. The screen will block the center A/C vents, but the cockpit is so small I don't think that will matter. What do you think? Also, the car has 16" wheels. We want to upgrade to 17" or even 18" if that would look, ride, and handle OK. What have others done in this regard? Thanks in advance!
