BMW power seat rock????

Hey fellow BMW owners. My wife and I have noticed a slight rock in the seat when stop-&-go situations arise . I know I have seen this brought up before on the forum.

If anyone here has had this on their BMW, could you please review the dealer work-order and let me know how they termed it. That way I can go to the dealer with the proper terminology. [read]

Lets see, rocking back and fourth? It could just be the bolts that secure your seat to the car. Try checking to see if those are loose.

Seat Sliding back and forth at a stop: replace the horrible OEM bushings with Doug Whalens.
Seat Rocking (not sliding): Still looking for a fix, some suggest wedging a penny under the seat!
Sliding seat is common problem, it moves forward and back upon acceleration and stopping. Whalen's bushings fix it.
Google "Seat Shish Kebab" .. Best article & instructions on the fix yet. Fixed my passenger seat today, took about 45 minutes.
