Any one have a '03 E39 with DSP?
For those who have an '03 E39 with DSP and CD changer can you check to see if you have either 2 or 3 cables plugged into your changer? If you don't have a changer but have DSP, how many wires are taped together on the left rear trunk where the changer would go?
I have this set up and only have the 3- and 6- pin connections to my factory changer and it works fine.
jrtoons in this forum has an '03 with DSP built in 02 but has the optical connection to the changer.
I'm wondering if something changed in the later builds (my was built in May 03) to the DSP/Stereo system. If this is the case, the system may be more flexible to upgrades.
